Eleven Trees has been operating in South London since 2007, with over 20 years of experience designing and creating luxury tailored garden rooms we have taken on a range of interesting and challenging projects. Unlike most of our competitions, our team are highly skilled carpenters and joiners and with our large supplier base it allows us to source special materials you cannot find at the usual merchants.

Our Process
To bring your garden room to life we will have to start with an on-site quote, this usually takes no longer than 1 hour of your time.
It's all a very collaborative process to ensure the end product is just perfect for you. We usually like to explain all the materials used in the build so you have a clear understanding of the structure and aestetics. Assessing the space available, we will measure up exactly where you want your garden room to be built.
We will then email you a detailed quote with a 3D visual of your garden room from what we discussed on site. Below is a typical design.
Once you've accepted your Garden Room quote that is tailored to your specific needs and requirements and your happy to proceed we ask for a small fee to secure your start date.
On start day we are on-site from 7:30 am and we begin with site preparation and the ground works begin. With our garden rooms with use a very specific construction method and this is by forming a base by setting reinforced concrete lintels in concrete. This method allows for less to be dug out, more drainage and plenty of airflow which are all important factors when constructing a timber framed base and build.
After the base, things start to move quickly. The basic structure usually goes up in 2-3 days, depending on the size.
When the basic structure is complete, the roof will be erected and covered using EDPM which is our standard roof option. It gives an excellent waterproof barrier to your garden roof structure and is specially designed for flat or low-sloped roofs. It is a durable rubber roofing membrane which is used worldwide. It has a life expectancy of more than 50 years with a 30 year weather security guarantee.
Next we move onto fitting the doors and windows and you can finally see your vision coming to life.
With the finish line in sight the internals will be insulated and the plasterboards will be fitted in place for the room to be plastered, once this is dry the final stages will begin.
Your garden room is then painted with 3-4 coats of high quality paint and the laminate flooring with electric underfloor heating is laid, all fixtures are fitted and at this point the electrician will also be on site to sign of the building and supply us with a electrical certificate.
On completion, the clean up puts the finishing sparkle on your Garden Room, we then hand over your keys and Eleven Trees welcome pack then all you have to do is move in your furniture and pop the kettle on!
Wait, shouldn't there be more phases? Nope it really is that quick and simple. This entire process of a 18m2 garden room usually takes no more than 2-3 weeks to complete.
