Who we are

For anything in this policy you can reach us by email at sales@eleventrees.co.uk, by phone on 0208 798 2610, or by post at 29 Gibbs Square, London SE19 1JN.

The information we collect

When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we collect the details you type into it: your name, email address, phone number, the area you live in, and whatever you tell us about the room you want.

If you call or email us instead, we collect whatever you choose to share in that call or message.

If we visit your garden to quote, we also collect the address, measurements, photographs of the space and notes about access and ground conditions. We need these to design the room and price the work.

Our website host records standard technical information when a page is served, such as the IP address of the device, the browser used and the pages visited. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser, and your approximate location based on your IP address. If you reject them, no analytics cookies are set.

Why we use it, and the lawful basis

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit
  • prepare a design, a 3D visual and a written quote
  • carry out the work you have agreed, and keep in touch during the build
  • handle guarantees, certificates and any aftercare
  • understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
  • meet our legal duties, including keeping accounting records

The lawful bases we rely on under UK GDPR are performance of a contract where you have accepted a quote, legitimate interests where you have enquired and expect a reply, legal obligation for tax and building records, and consent for analytics cookies and for any marketing you have asked to receive.

Marketing

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them. If we ever do, every message will carry an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We do share it with suppliers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Framer, which hosts this website and delivers the enquiry form to our inbox
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) and the fonts used on this site
  • our email provider
  • our accountant and, where relevant, HMRC
  • specialists we occasionally bring in for part of a build, such as an electrician issuing your certificate

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Where your information is held

Some of our suppliers, including Framer and Google, may store or process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens, we expect appropriate safeguards to be in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only for as long as we need them to follow up your enquiry, and are then deleted.

Records relating to work we carried out are kept for six years after completion, because of tax rules and because structural guarantees and electrical certificates need to be evidenced. Some build records are kept for the length of the guarantee.

Cookies

We only use analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from our cookie policy, which lists every cookie this site uses.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • have inaccurate information corrected
  • ask us to delete information, where we do not have to keep it
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we relied on
  • ask us to transfer certain information to another provider

To use any of these rights, email sales@eleventrees.co.uk. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we release information.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection. You can reach the ICO at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
